Mornings with God

Meditating on Psalm 17:7

“Shew thy marvelous lovingkindness, O thou that savest by thy right hand them which put their trust in thee from those that rise up against them” (Psalm 17:7).

Good morning.

These verses are so good I had to continue with verse 7.  Yesterday we discussed that God inclines His ear to us.  Today, we see that He goes further than simply hearing us.  Indeed, God shows lovingkindness to us.  Lovingkindness is defined as “goodness, kindness, and faithfulness” (Strong’s Number H2617).

God doesn’t just hear our pleas; He moves into action to show us marvelous (wonderful, distinct) lovingkindness.  His response is tailor-made just for us!  Think about that for a second.  He doesn’t give us cookie-cutter solutions.  Nope!  He gives each of us precisely what we need.

He saves (liberates, delivers, gives victory to) us with a strong hand when we trust Him.  So, when you pray, pray believing and trusting Him to save you, giving you the victory.

Expect to experience His goodness, kindness, and faithfulness amid your test, trial, or temptation.  He’s there for us.  He desires to help all who call upon Him.
