Meditating on Psalm 38:12
“They also that seek after my life lay snares for me: and they that seek my hurt speak mischievous things, and imagine deceits all the day long” (Psalm 38:12).
Good morning,
Don’t worry about people today. Do not worry about what folks are saying about you or the traps they may lay for you. Don’t be bothered by the boss or co-worker who speaks lies about you.
God knows the truth, and the truth will eventually be revealed. Take a cue from David and don’t say a word (see verse 13).
It’s so sad that some people are looking for ways to hurt and discredit others. Do not worry about those folks. In my experience, there are always more people for us than there are against us, and I believe that’s by God’s design.
We need to say with David in verse 15:
“For in thee, O Lord, do I hope: thou wilt hear, O Lord my God.”
God hears all, and He sees all. He will help and deliver. He will protect you today. He will comfort you. He will send those who care for you to be a source of encouragement and motivation. Just trust Him. Trust Him because He is your defense. Trust His love and compassion toward you. Keep your hope in the Lord.
