It’s Time to Make a Change
One of my favorite verses is, “But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?” (James 2:20). It never ceases to amaze me how many people I come across who are “waiting on the Lord” for their change but never taking any action for the desired change.
If you’re “waiting on the Lord” for a new job, but you’re not taking classes to improve your skills, actively seeking employment, filling out applications, updating your resume, or writing cover/thank you letters, then you’re not really “waiting on the Lord.”
If you’re “waiting on the Lord” to buy a new house, but you aren’t saving money, fixing your credit, or trying to obtain a loan, then you’re not really “waiting on the Lord.”
If you’re “believing God” (another favorite phrase) to help you lose weight, but you’re not eating healthfully, working out, or drinking lots of water, then you’re not really “believing God.”
Whatever you’re “waiting on the Lord” to do…make sure you’re doing your part. It’s time to take action. You don’t have to stay stuck in your current situation. You’re allowed to grow, transform, change your mind, and try something different. You’re allowed to ACT while “waiting on the Lord.”

Now……go get it done!
