Happy NEW YEAR!
I honestly can’t believe it’s 2020. It seems like just yesterday I was looking forward to high school graduation and turning 18. Yet, it’s been 32 years. I’m turning 50 this year and am actually excited about it. I look forward to what the next decade brings to my life and yours.
You may have noticed, or not, that I haven’t blogged in a while. I decided to take a step back and think about ReeINSPIRED, the book(s), blog, social media platforms, Facebook groups, etc., and what I want to do with them.
When I started ReeINSPIRED in 2016, I had a pretty good idea, a high-level vision of what I wanted it to be. However, over the past three years, I got away from my original intent. I started reading and listening to all the experts and started following their advice instead of staying true to what the Holy Spirit initially told me.
After much prayer, deliberation, and journaling my way through the thinking process, I’ve decided to go back to my original plan.
ReeINSPIRED is here to Strengthen, Encourage, and Comfort everybody, but especially Christian women (based on 1 Corinthians 14:3). Every blog post, book, and social media post will have those three things as their aim.
Also, I’ve decided to blow the dust off the ReeINSPIRED podcast I started three years ago but subsequently stopped. The launch date is 2/3/2020. I am committed to publishing a podcast each week in which we discuss:
- Various Biblical principles/doctrine/stories
- Time management for busy women
- Productivity hacks
- and much, much more
Lastly, I am self-publishing two books this year:
- Letters to My Sisters
- Lynn’s Story
Letters to My Sisters is a compilation of lessons the Holy Spirit has taught me over the past 20 years. I’ve designed the book to be a coaching tool than you can pick up and find timely advice based upon biblical principles.
Lynn’s Story is the first of my fictional series. You’re going to love the characters I’ve written, the drama in which they find themselves, and God’s healing, redemptive, and transformative power.
I pray you stick with me this year via the ReeINSPIRED blog, tune in to the podcast, read my articles on iBelieve (search for my name on the website), and connect with me on social media.
Have a blessed 2020.
Until next time,
