Faith to Overcome

Key 8, “And He said unto her, ‘Daughter be of good comfort: thy faith hath made thee whole, go in peace,’” (Luke 8:48).

Our faith, our belief, in the Lord Jesus Christ can accomplish remarkable things.   Our faith rests in the power of God (1 Corinthians 2:5) to save, heal, and deliver us.   Overcomers’ faith believes Christ is who He says He is and He can, and will, accomplish what He says He will accomplish.  Our faith gives us an inexplicable boldness.  It also allows us to believe the unbelievable.  And when we can believe God for the unbelievable, we become unstoppable, unshakeable, immoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord (see 1 Corinthians 15:58).

As your car requires gasoline to drive, faith is the energy propelling us forward.  Faith keeps us going.  Faith sees what’s hidden. Overcomers see victory over obstacles before the battle is won.  Faith gives you boldness to declare you’re healed in Jesus’ name when you’ve received a scary diagnosis and unknown prognosis.  Faith will make you declare freedom over loved ones charged with crimes they didn’t commit. Faith tells you to buy the furniture for the house before you go to closing.  Faith in the power of God helps you forgive the person who doesn’t show any remorse for what they’ve done to you.  Faith empowers you to “…love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you,” (Matthew 5:44).

I love this my friend! Such a beautiful way of looking at our lives. We are overcomers and if we just use the little bit of faith that is within us, we can overcome anything and everything that comes up against us. Keep sharing God’s Word with us. God Bless You!

Faith was such a struggle for me early in my Christian walk. The more I tried to understand it, the more frustrated I became. I finally “got” when I read 1 Corinthians 2:5: “That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.” In that moment, I understood faith. It’s simply believing God’s power. I’ve been asking the Lord to increase my belief in His power ever since. I’m glad today’s blog post blessed you. Continue believing and standing in FAITH!
