It’s been a little more than a month since I started researching motivational speaking and I’m just as
Before I bought my house, I envisioned being a homeowner. When I went on job interviews, I envisioned myself acing the interviews and being offered the job. Now it’s time for me to envision myself as a motivational speaker.
“Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen,” (Hebrews 11:1).
As I envision myself being a motivational speaker, I’m becoming more and more excited. I can now admit I WANT this for my life. I’ve been through a lot and have experienced a lot of failures and successes, heartache, pain, and joy that I want to share with women (and men and teens too if they need to hear my stories).
When I envision myself as a motivational speaker, I see a bold woman spreading joy, peace, and hope. I picture a woman who isn’t ashamed to tell the world her stories. Audiences will be healed because I was brave enough to come out from behind my laptop and my church. I will stand on local, national, AND global stages to tell women the world over – “YOU GOT THIS, SIS!”
When I see my future self, I’m confident, standing in my power, authority, and anointing – a woman blessed by God to speak to the masses. I envision my daughter’s college AND law school tuitions paid in FULL. I see myself leaving an inheritance for my children and my grandchildren (that’s Bible).
I’m envisioning this by faith because right now, none of it is happening. I’m dreaming BIG and stepping out in full confidence – in God. And I want to encourage you to do the same thing.
“Delight yourself in the Lord; and He will give you the desires of your heart,” (Psalm 37:4).
When you envision yourself a year from now, what do you see? Three years from now? 5, 10, 15 years from now? Start dreaming about and envisioning your future self. As long as you delight yourself in the Lord, have faith, and your future self aligns with God’s Word, I believe it will come to pass. The question is: DO YOU BELIEVE?
Until next time,
